1700s Swedish furniture is functionality combined with simple, elegant shapes and typically Swedish woods such as birch and alder. Through a partnership between the Swedish National Museum and Allinwood this cultural treasure is preserved in the form of authentic replicas of selected pieces of furniture originating from Swedish castles and manors. Just like in the 1700s, production is made by hand by skilled cabinetmakers who proudly marks the finished piece with the National Museum seal - a guarantee of authenticity. To select a piece from this collection with deep roots in the 1700s is not only about the preservation of a cultural heritage, also the pleasure of a beautiful, authentic and elegant piece of furniture.
